In the biography section you have Jan & Dean listed as one of the acts James Armstrong performed with, and although there WAS a James Armstrong that toured with Jan & Dean, it was not THIS James Armstrong. The James Armstrong that toured with Jan & Dean and I conversed many times through facebook and his genre of music is rock and roll, surfing style music...not blues. Secondly his birthday is December 15th. ChrisReise66 (talk) 08:28, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have assumed good faith and removed Jan & Dean from the article. However, and I assume you mean this James Armstrong was born on December 15, this is at odds with the DOB given by AllMusic, as is cited in the main article. You will need to provide at least one reliable source to support any alteration. You should be aware of the advice given in the editing guidelines, such as at WP:BLP and WP:V.
