Orphaned references in Jack (1996 film)

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jack (1996 film)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "mojo":

  • From Rumble Fish: Rumble Fish at Box Office Mojo
  • From The Rainmaker (1997 film): "The Rainmaker (1997)". Box Office Mojo. Internet Movie Database. Retrieved October 17, 2015.
  • From Apocalypse Now Redux: "Apocalypse Now Redux Domestic Gross". Box Office Mojo. Retrieved 2009-07-20.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:31, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Werner syndrome

[edit]

Is this actual term used in the movie? According to the wiki-linked article, "Werner syndrome patients exhibit growth retardation, short stature, premature graying of hair, alopecia (hair loss), wrinkling, prematurely aged faces with beaked noses, ..." rags (talk) 22:40, 8 June 2018 (UTC) rags (talk) 22:40, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, just watched it, and they seem to explicitly rule it out. "There are other aging syndromes that we know of. Progeria, for example, which is very devastating to the child, but Jack's cells are replicating at an unheard-of rate."
