Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Bhalobasar Rong be merged into Jaaz Multimedia. The notability of the film has been in question ever since the article was created 3 years ago. Of the cited sources, jaaz-multimedia is the production company, and the other two are places to download the soundtrack. Searches of the usual types, including by Bengali script name, found nothing directly about the film, or in detail, only passing mentions that so-and-so had been in it: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] (in Bengali). As such it does not meet WP:GNG, nor does it meet any criterion of WP:NF, so it does not merit a stand alone article. Merging to the production company, where the film is already covered, is proposed as an alternative to deletion.
I think that the content in the Bhalobasar Rong article can easily be explained in the context of Jaaz Multimedia, and the company article is of a reasonable size so that the merging will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Founder edit war
[edit]Since 1 March 2016, editors have been edit warring over who founded the company, changing that information ten times in six weeks.
According to the company website, Abdul Aziz is the chairman[1] and Alimullah Mohammed is CEO.[2] These are important positions, and are included in the infobox as key_people, in accordance with Template:Infobox company/doc. In their "about us" messages on the company website, both describe Shish Manwar as the founder of the company ("Our Jaaz Multimedia is a Bangladeshi entertainment company established by Shish Manwar"[1] and "The company was founded by Shish Manwar in 2011"[2]). Absent any other reliable sources on the matter, Shish Manwar is the only name that should appear as founder in the infobox or article text.
Wikipedia requires verifiability. Editors who supply reliable sources for other founders are welcome to contribute them. However, continued edit warring over this - adding information without a source or removing sourced information - is disruptive and will not be tolerated.
