Bad article
[edit]How can this article completely ignore that by 1938 Germany was more or less running the show in Italy and, further, that Mussolini's mistress was jewish and he was hung with her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Badarticles (talk • contribs) 06:22, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

- "Germany" was not "by 1938 running the show in Italy" - Doesn't mean that it is a good article either. --105.12.4.152 (talk) 08:18, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
Arabs??
[edit]Why is there no mention of his treatment of Arabs during the pacification of Libya? No mention of his genocide of Bedouins?
Mussolini paid lip-service to Islam and Muhammad, PBUH (an Arab) but that does not change the fact that there was this racialized persecution.
Problematic source
[edit]The following quote is not found anywhere. In Benito Mussolini's Opera Omnia there is no such speech in February 1922 https://issuu.com/rivista.militare1/docs/opera_omnia_-_vol._18_-_benito_mussolini
"When dealing with such a race as Slavic—inferior and barbarian—we must not pursue the carrot, but the stick policy. ... We should not be afraid of new victims. ... The Italian border should run across the Brenner Pass, Monte Nevoso and the Dinaric Alps. ... I would say we can easily sacrifice 500,000 barbaric Slavs for 50,000 Italians"

Redundant quotation
[edit]@LukeWiller reverted two editions: one by me removing text that was already present in the article in a different translation and another by a bot rescuing a lost reference. I reverted his reversion but submitted it before I could craft a proper summary. I am sorry for that.
Both quotations are:
If Petrograd (Pietrograd) does not yet fall, if [General] Denikin is not moving forward, then this is what the great Jewish bankers of London and New York have decreed. These bankers are bound by ties of blood to those Jews who in Moscow as in Budapest are taking their revenge on the Aryan race that has condemned them to dispersion for so many centuries. In Russia, 80 per cent of the managers of the Soviets are Jews, in Budapest 17 out of 22 people's commissars are Jews. Might it not be that bolshevism is the vendetta of Judaism against Christianity?? It is certainly worth pondering. It is entirely possible that bolshevism will drown in the blood of a pogrom of catastrophic proportions. World finance is in the hands of the Jews. Whoever owns the strongboxes of the people is in control of their political systems. Behind the puppets (making peace) in Paris, there are the Rothschilds, the Warburgs, the Schiffs, the Guggenheims who are of the same blood who are conquering Petrograd and Budapest. Race does not betray race. [...] Bolshevism is a defence of the international plutocracy. This is the basic truth of the matter. The international plutocracy dominated and controlled by Jews has a supreme interest in all of Russian life accelerating its process of disintegration to the point of paroxysm. A Russia that is paralyzed, disorganized, and starved, will be a place where tomorrow the bourgeoisie, yes the bourgeoisie, o proletarians will celebrate its spectacular feast of plenty.
— Benito Mussolini, Il Popolo d'Italia, June 1919[1]
and
If Petrograd does not fall, if Denikin marks the way, it is that this is what the great Jewish bankers of London and New York want, tied by race ties with the Jews who in Moscow as in Budapest take revenge against the Aryan race who it has been condemned to dispersion for many centuries. In Russia, there are eighty percent of Soviet leaders who are Jewish. Wouldn't Bolshevism by chance be Judaism's revenge against Christianity? The topic lends itself to meditation. It is possible that Bolshevism will drown in the blood of a pogroom of catastrophic proportions. World finance is in the hands of the Jews.[2]
Bolshevism is defended by international plutocracy. This is the essential truth. The Jewish-dominated and controlled international plutocracy has a supreme interest in that all Russian life accelerates its process of molecular disintegration to paroxysm.[2]
If you compare, it is the same text in two unreferenced translations. I have retained one and kept the source reference from the other.

- @Error Ah, ok, I didn't realize the other quote was there too. I was convinced they were identical (I used Chrome's find) and I couldn't find it. The important thing is that we have clarified ourselves. Hi, LukeWiller (talk) 21:30, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
