Spelling of Kyiv

Bermicourt, your claims of what the most common name of Kyiv is in WP:RS are not true. It was established in 2020 that Kyiv "is the better title given usage in reliable, English-language sources" (emphasis mine), when the article was moved, and the usage of Kyiv has only increased since then.

After that, there was a discussion on usage of Kiev/Kyiv in other articles, which resulted in conclusion that "For unambiguously current / ongoing topics (e.g. Kyiv Metro), Kyiv is preferred".

This is the current consensus. Please undo your revert, and if you feel that the current consensus is wrong (i. e. Kyiv is not the common name of the city, as used in reliable sources), then the place to challenge it is the main article's talk page, not here. — Exlevan (talk) 13:46, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
