- ... that industry analysts predict up to 75% of independent restaurants in the US will not survive the coronavirus pandemic closings (signage pictured)? Source: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/20/dining/local-restaurants-coronavirus.html "Restaurant analysts and operators have been quoting an estimate that 75 percent of the independent restaurants that have been closed to protect Americans from the coronavirus won’t make it."

- Article new enough, long enough - I'm a little dubious on the purpose of splitting it, but it's developed enough to seem to warrant that. Images seem fine, Starbucks logo de minimis (but not the nommed image). Hook is sourced in line, and interesting. QPQ done. @Valereee: Seems good to go. Kingsif (talk) 17:00, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Kingsif, thank you! I split it because it had gotten so long. I suspect that many of the other countries also deserve an article for their own industry, but I'm not finding as many sources so I'm hoping people in those countries will be interested in developing them. I suspect this is going to be a major long-term result: a press of the reset button for the entire independent restaurant industry worldwide. Are you saying the nommed image needs to be revised to remove the restaurant logo? --valereee (talk) 17:13, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Valereee: No, I was confirming that the images are fine and the Starbucks logo in particular, since it's so famous, is evidently de minimis. The nommed image is fine, too. Kingsif (talk) 17:20, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
