Birth place
[edit]I have a little bit of difficulty in finding out where Abakoumov was born. Some of the other languages state Berdyansk and Belarus. However, Berdyansk redirects to Berdiansk which is in the Ukraine. SeveroTC 23:30, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- This indeed stays a mystery... so I did not put [[Category:People from Berdyansk]] into the article... Searches on google with the Ukrainian or Russian spelling of his name did not give a solution... Neither did he ever give an interview (?)... "The Ukraine" is grammatically incorrect by the way... from now on I will refer to the United Kingdom as "United Kingdom" as punishment...File:Navy.gif — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 15:48, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- I can't find any references to Belarus now and sources state that he was Ukrainian so I think that that assuming Berdyansk (and Category:People from Berdyansk) is fairly safe. SeveroTC 07:11, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
