[edit]- Hudson Taylor Armerding was named for Hudson Taylor, a British Protestant Christian missionary to China and founder of the China Inland Mission (CIM, now OMF International), who was was able to preach in several varieties of Chinese, including Mandarin.
- Dr. Armerding was fondly known as 'Hud' by undergraduates at Wheaton College, where he was President. MaynardClark (talk) 16:27, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
