List of people

[edit]

I'm concerned about listing people as "conservatives", especially living persons. Is the list of people necessary for this article? George Ho (talk) 06:24, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Modern definitions of "Conservative" do not always fit with politicians from the nineteenth century. You could probably argue everyone before a chosen point was "Conservative" by current standards. But I would only list those who directly identified as such. Also being Republican does not automatically make one a Conservative, and historically, some Democrats were quite Conservative and identified as such."2603:8080:7D05:7200:152B:FB3F:83BC:C795 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 00:19, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
