The text refers to Heinzelmann but the page is at Hinzelmann. -- Beardo (talk) 22:01, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I had forgotten that I wrote that - I now see the sources both use Hinzelmann. -- Beardo (talk) 17:21, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Cologne article? Missing Danzig tradition?

[edit]

Two related problems:

Judging off of the two articles on Heizelmaennchen, this article and the article on Koenigsburg Heizelmaennchen seem to be describing similar creatures and prbably ought to be merged.

As well, I was actually told slightly different stories about Heizelmaennchen from my grandmother (from Danzig) - that they live in the forest, are small and have tails, have parties where they dance around fires, and tend not to play pranks. I was later informed by someone from Danzig that folklore like this from there has actually been archived... but none of it is quoted here.

Really, these feel like one larger problem: Poor info and organization on the topic of Heizelmaennchen.
