Laws protecting "public peace"

The way some speech-limiting laws are worded imho invites hecklers veto discussion. For example, laws against "insulting religion" are often worded in such a way that the offense is not the insult in and of itself but an insult "in a manner apt to disturb public peace". So in essence a religious community will get more legal protection if it reacts more violently to public criticism. Hobbitschuster (talk) 10:06, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
