Confusion between the sisters Fatma and Hatice
[edit]A previous article at this page name was deleted as incorrect, because it confused the two sisters. See Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 May 28#Hatice Sultan (daughter of Ahmed III) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hatice Sultan (daughter of Ahmed III). It was Fatma who had great influence during the later part of the Tulip era. I have added a "see also" note here which I hope makes that clear.
It appears from the abandoned user draft [1] that Alev Lytle Croutier's book Harem is among sources making that error. – Fayenatic London 09:54, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
