Based on comments on the speedy taggers's user talk page and from what I can see from edit histories, no such article are was ever deleted at a deletion discussion. It in fact was kept, by me, as a non-admin, because there was no valid deletion rationale. What apparently happened was that tagger created an article on this footballer that was speedily deleted by an admin. The editor states that he did so "in a rush" and the suggestion seems to be that it was not created in a shape that was up to standards. Then someone else created the article and that's what seems to be the issue. The editor wants his article to be the article, not that of @Harriesss: -- an editor who, he claims, bizarrely, "doesn't exist." If I understand correctly this whole exercise is quite unnecessary and the editor has been encouraged to edit the existing article rather than repeatedly attempt to have it deleted per WP:OWNership issues. The tagger has since tried twice to create "his" article to replace this one, apparently because he feels the article subject is "his," not the other editor's. Two warnings have been issued and I've urged him to simply edit this one. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 23:11, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
