POSTER

[edit]

theres another poster with miley instead of hannah on the AMC theater web site. its like this: http://www.mcall.com/news/local/all-rave-11282007cn,0,6526953.story?coll=all_tab01_layout —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.225.157.24 (talkcontribs) 00:10, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They seem to alternate the posters on different sites. The one I grabbed seems the most common one used and is of reasonably good quality. I originally had the one with Miley on it but I think the current one is better. --NrDg 01:08, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We should put up both of the posters —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.224.153.3 (talk) 19:30, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately these images are copyrighted and fair use rules kind of allows only one image for demonstration and comment - two showing the same thing is kind of hard to justify under fair use rules. I agree it would be nice to show both but I really can't think of a fair use justification to include the other one since it would be mostly for decoration. If we can find some news article that talks about both images we could include both as part of the critical commentary. --NrDg 19:47, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

I thought the title of this is film was Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus..., not Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus.... Before this is changed, I wanted to confirm this and not screw up the linking.Jvsett (talk) 05:53, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can set the title to anything having a backslash as that is a special character and would end up creating a subarticle called Miley Cyrus under this one. AnmaFinotera (talk) 06:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also the title reflects what the movie poster calls it. --NrDg 14:34, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RELEASED IN CANADA

[edit]

I think it is misleading to say it was released in Canada when it is only playing in Toronto & surrounding area, Montreal & Halifax. That would be like releasing a movie only in New York, L.A. & Dallas then saying it was released in the U.S. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hottime65 (talkcontribs) 05:29, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How so? Toronto et al are in Canada, so it was released there. When films are only released in a few cities, it is still said to have been released in the US, with it usually referred to as a limited release. If you have a source showing it only had a limited Canadian release, then the sentence could be modified.AnmaFinotera (talk) 05:44, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was released in all the cities in Canada and oklahoma and the US that had the ability to display the 3D picture, it was limited due to technology, not by a decision to limit it to certain cities. --NrDg 16:35, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DVD Release

[edit]

--76.2.65.32 (talk) 19:47, 10 February 2008 (UTC)Does Disney plan to release this film on DVD any time soon?[reply]

There is no word yet on whether Disney plans are releasing the film to DVD. But due to the overwhemling excitement and revenue archived by this film, and a DVD release is more than likely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhankins721 (talkcontribs) 05:06, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
