POV

Firstly, I´m not too sure that this organisation is notable at all.

However, *if* we are going to have an article about it, lets at least follow the sources. Presently, the article states: The Washington Post describes it as a group dedicated to “reaching complete and comprehensive freedom and civil rights for Jews on the Temple Mount.” However, the Washington Post does no such thing. The Washington Post simply quotes the organisation itself, and makes sure to its readers that it is a quote, by enclosing the text in "". This is what it writes: HaLiba, a group dedicated to “reaching complete and comprehensive freedom and civil rights for Jews on the Temple Mount.”.

Another example: the article presently states: During visits to the Mount, HaLiba director Yehuda Glick has documented and filmed illegal activity, including Muslim crews "drilling with heavy machinery" at the legally protected site. Iow: it is presented as an undisputed fact. The sources cited does not back this up. Even jpost writes: "Rabbi claims he was detained on Temple Mount for videotaping Muslims". (My bolding). We should make clear that there is no independent verifications of his claims. Huldra (talk) 21:22, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Really? It's the topic that's politicized, not not this article. Look, in most ways this is a totally small-potatoes organization, a coalition of a small number of dedicated activists. But - and this is key - the topic is the Temple Mount in the center of Jerusalem, and that makes it a useful topic to have on Wikipedia. If you find some reliable sources, by all means put them up, don't just drive-by and tag.ShulMaven (talk) 23:03, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Still needs work

[edit]

I've tidied up the article (grammar, punctuation, format etc.) but the content still needs work from someone in the know. Llusiduonbach (talk) 09:39, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
