Caution

[edit]

While this will obviously need to be moved to Home Network in a few more days, just a reminder that the current HGTV (Canadian TV channel) title will require extreme caution in its handling — virtually all links currently leading to this title pertain to the Corus HGTV→Home rather than the new Rogers HGTV, so just repurposing the current title as an article about the new Rogers version will be problematic.

Most likely we'll have to add the company names — e.g. HGTV (Corus) and HGTV (Rogers) or something along those lines, much like we did back in the day when we had the two different A-Channels problem before it resolved itself — while turning the "Canadian TV channel" version into a disambiguation page. But we won't be able to just turn the existing title into a new article about the Rogers version, because that will cause a lot of existing links (and possibly some future links added by editors who aren't careful or knowledgeable about what they're doing) to lead to the wrong place.
