Removing actor Richard Garnett
[edit]I'm going to remove this:
"In series 1 and 2 he is played by talented actor Richard Garnett, who currently has one child, Freddie."
as :
-it shouldn't be so prominent
-series 1 and 2 of what? There's more than one tv adaptation been made, and this is primarily about the character in the novels.
-talented is a value judgment
-this actor's children are completely irrelevant to a Gussie Fink-Nottle article; a Richard Garnett article should be created if this is of interest to anyone.
I would suggest that if re-added it should mention the actor's name only, specify what series it is talking about, state the name of any other actors that have played the character and appear towards the end of the article. As I don't know what adaptation this refers to, I can't do this. Aredbeardeddwarf 11:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Removed "comedy" linking
[edit]I've removed the link between "face like a fish" and the article about HP Lovecraft's Deep Ones, who are "a race of frog-like, ocean-dwelling creatures with an affinity for mating with humans... Although the Deep One hybrid offspring are born with the appearance of a normal human being, the individual will eventually transform into a Deep One... the ears shrink, the eyes bulge and become unblinking, the head narrows and gradually goes bald, the skin becomes scabrous as it changes into scales, and the neck develops folds which later become gills." As a Lovecraft fan, it raised a smile, but it's not appropriate to link to a completely unrelated article for comic effect.Señor Service (talk) 21:41, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
