Two groups of Gurbeti ?
[edit]I'm a bit confused, one source says the ancestors of the Gurbeti were once settled in the Balkans from Ottoman Cyprus around 17th century, other sources say the ancestors of the gurbeti came from Moldova and Wallachia at the end of the 1850s after the condition of slavery, and speak a Vlax romani dialect. The majority of the Gurbeti in the Balkans are Muslim, but there are also some Orthodox Christian Gurbetis. Are there two groups with the same Turkish name gurbeti at the balkans ?
