The result of the move request was: No move. The creation of articles for the baseball player and general necessitates a dab page. No prejudice against starting a new RM if the actor is still the primary topic. Cúchullain t/c 12:24, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Guo Tao (actor)Guo Tao – Six years after the dab page's creation, the baseball player still has no page. Either way, the move should take place per WP:TWODABS. I couldn't find much information on the baseball player on the web. Timmyshin (talk) 16:33, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps, but if the article does not exist yet, and there is no evidence that it will in the near future, I don't think it should factor in. Also, it does get crated at a later time we can reevaluate since moves are reversible .--67.68.209.200 (talk) 03:56, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I've created Guo Tao (general) and Guo Tao (baseball), and I think the proposal should be withdrawn, unless the actor is proven to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, which is a possibility. The proposer's reasoning was sound, but in general if there's a dab page with one blue link and verifiable red links, it's better to create stubs for the red links rather than delete the dab page. Postponing disambiguation is time-consuming in the long run, as there may be lots of incoming links to change. -Zanhe (talk) 02:26, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
