I think it's clear that it will eventually need to be removed, since there are many group homes, and it's prohibitive to list them all here. And categories are a much better solution for listing specific instances of a general concept. But this article is pretty short right now, so I don't mind if it stays until the article expands a bit more. --Underpants 23:00, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. I'm in the UK, where the term "group homes" isn't in common use, and found this article frustrating as it rather assumes a fair amount of US-specific knowledge. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the subject to make extensive edits myself, so I'll add the Globalize-US tag to the article in the hope that someone with more knowledge will do so. Adult Bias Problem & Misinformation Biased Against The Handicap

First off, the start of the page is saying that all American group homes are for adults with serious health complications, which is 100% incorrect, and is lying that everyone in a group home is a grown up, and that they're all seriously sick physically, or seriously challenged physically. Then, it lies that group homes almost always have only six people in them. Group homes for children are significantly more than six kids per group home. Six kids is foster care, not a group home. Whoever wrote the top paragraphs of this page doesn't know what they're talking about at all. And, the top of the page lies that that information is the United States' present norms, which is completely bogus. Most group homes in the U.S. are for children, and most of those kids are healthy. Most group homes in the U.S. are for children in need of families, and have much more than six "residents." And, adult group homes don't require a high severity of handicapment, nor are all the disabled adults in group homes physically disabled, many are mentally disabled either from retardation, or from a Serious Mental Illness.
