The longest run of any animated series?
[edit]I'm not sure why that line is even included, but South Park also has 13 seasons. So if the statement bears mentioning, then South Park ought to be included as well. Note that King of the Hill has had more actual episodes, but they've been on the same number of seasons.--Dustin Asby (talk) 11:48, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Does anyone have a strong source for him being born in West Hollywood, California? Every other source I can find seems to trace back to this article. Beginning (talk) 20:26, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

AWARDS Section
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
In the awards section, "He has been nominated for twenty Emmys and has won four" should be "He has been nominated for twenty Emmys and has won five." Wikipedia is missing his Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program for King Of The Hill in 1999.
- This edit has been made. Go4thProsper (talk) 17:11, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
"Those wins are for: Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program for his work on Saturday Night Live, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for the Simpsons episode, "Lisa's Wedding," Outstanding Comedy Series for The Office and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for "Gay Witch Hunt" from The Office."
should be
"Those wins are for: Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program for his work on Saturday Night Live, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for the Simpsons episode, "Lisa's Wedding," Outstanding Comedy Series for The Office, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for "Gay Witch Hunt" from The Office and Outstanding Animated Program for Outstanding Animated Program for King of The Hill."

- Hello, so it looks like the first editor had only partially completed your request. I did not know this originally and went ahead to remove the edit request tag completely. I only found out after looking at the article and saw that his award for King of The Hill was not included. So I went ahead to complete your edit request.
- IMDB is not an acceptable source, but Variety is. I found a different source from the Emmys that instead of listing just the awards for King of the Hill, listed all the awards and nominations for Greg Daniels. The source I found said he was nominated for 21 Emmys, not 20, so I changed that number. Though the source did not include his win or nomination for SNL in 1989?
- After this, I reorganized the entire awards subsection to make it easier to read. I then found a source for his award in the 2008 Austin Film Festival. Thank you for your edit request and apologies for removing your edit request without checking the article first. Kingapresa (talk) 19:01, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
