rails

[edit]

Grand Canyon Railway - anecdote - a train expert might want to verify and add the following to the article. Story goes that the Santa Fe had sold the rail line for salvage. The salvagers tried to begin pulling up the rail within the Williams AZ city limits, and someone called the police. An astute officer cited the salvagers for failure to obtain a permit to operate within the city limits. Then knowing of the Biegerts interest in the line, they were contacted and were able to purchase the line, right of way etc and bring back the train. Gcmaven 00:54, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone has any additional info about the Arizona Railroad Museum, don't be afraid to add more info about it, or even make it's own article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Someone who likes train writing (talkcontribs) 02:22, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
