[edit]This page should not be merged. Cobol is one of the most used programming languages in the world. OpenCobol is the only notable ACTIVE FOSS Cobol compiler. It is being used around the world, a quick review of the OpenCobol site will provide examples. I am sure more comenters can do so here as well.
- I don't think this article fails the general notability guideline. Also, it is open source so everyone can look verify things that it claims it is. With a few quick google searches, I have not found anything that conflicts with the article. Raysonho (talk) 04:26, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

- I guess you've not checked the cited sources then?
- In any case you can just download the old 1.1 or last release tarball (3.1.2) and run it on your own (according to the cited source "make checkall" does everything for you"), then get the results in "summary.log".
