[edit]Are you sure they are (still) married? I only ask because she seems to live in Florida/Jamaica, whereas he seems fixed in Brooklyn? Wwwhatsup 23:55, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit]His writing credits on the newly-reissued The Good, the Bad & the Upsetters appear as Glenroy Kinkead Adams Phillips - is there a (reliable) source for Glenroy Phillip Adams?--Michig (talk) 08:06, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I see it [1]. There are plenty of links to GPA on google and, though most, not all appear to be based on Wikipedia. Not that it's verifiable or reliable, I could call him up and ask! Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:18, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- It would be good if we could know for sure. I would have thought that writing credits would be likely to be correct to make sure that royalties get to the right person. --Michig (talk) 08:21, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I do see "Glenroy Adams-Phillips" kicks up some dust, but nothing tangible. Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:30, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I couldn't find anything that looked reliable.--Michig (talk) 08:35, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

- Ok, Checking ASCAP: ADAMS GLEN, ADAMS GLEN P, PHILLIPS GLENROY KINKEAD ADAMS and PHILLIPS GLENROY ADAMS are listed, with all the former linking to the latter: [2]. ASCAP puts surname first, so we can conclude that, for publishing purposes his name is Glenroy Adams Phillips. However it's not unusual for authors to change their names at some point for tax, accounting reasons, or to escape from bad publishing deals, or just because someone put it wrong on a record. Having opened an ASCAP account in that name he might have just stuck with it regardless. Getting back to your original question, I guess the answer has to be: Not at this time, given conflicting information. Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:56, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
And, a search at Harry Fox has him just show up as Glen Adams, except for the one disco single Just A Groove (Glen Adams Affair) where he is listed as Glen P Adams - perhaps since this record sampled Diana Ross [3]? One thing is pretty certain - he was known as Capo back in the day. Wwwhatsup (talk) 09:13, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, also his site is down - archive isn't much help as it was all javascript. He is in the phonebook: [4]. Give me a day or two. I'll comment it out for now. Wwwhatsup (talk) 09:26, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- OK, tried that number - it's out of service. I have a couple of other sources I can contact- Jammyland and Susan Cadogan. I'll try them. Wwwhatsup (talk) 19:24, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Response from Susan below:
- as far as i know, Glen is "Glenroy Kinkead Phillips Adams"...so he called himself Glen Adams in the music. I wrote the bio on his "Wonderthirst" CD insert. In 1974, I met him at Perry's studio and we became involved....Glen was a dapper, handsome guy who "wooed" me with a passion..when I went to London in 1975 for promotion of "Hurt so Good" we lost touch. I remet Glen in 2001 and he produced 2 CDs for me. Today he is my good friend, and a sometimes miserable one...lol!!
