I disagree this DISAMBIGUATION page needs to be kept, it was created when people below had a long discussuon and decided these topics needed to be disambiguated - so it wasn't an arbitrary decision:

"Giant animal may refer to:

--Megafauna, the largest animal species

--Giant animal (mythology), large animals in mythology"

I think that the "fiction" list is however arbitrary here & in wrong place --instead a link to "giant animals in fiction" article is more appropriate, in fact, I am going to move the fiction list if I find a page like that exists. Goldenrowley (talk) 02:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
