@FormalDude thanks for your most recent review. I was wondering if you might be willing to provide some commentary. This subject was in the news last summer. His actions were criticized by the British Prime-Minister and Home Secretary and as such what he did was widely reported in the British press. I was curious as to whether you felt that it was a case of not enough coverage or possibly the wrong type of coverage? Salimfadhley (talk) 21:34, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Salimfadhley, I'm happy to provide some additional details. Both in the specific case you mentioned, and in the article overall, I felt that it was a case of not enough significant coverage. Some of the sources are significant news stories, but they're few and far in between, and not enough to make the person notable. The person has appeared in reliable sources just a handful of times; it's not consistent enough to warrant an article on Wikipedia, and would be WP:NOTNEWS. I don't think this article passes WP:NBIO, and I think it would currently be deleted if taken to AfD. ––FormalDude talk22:04, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Yes, he was in a spate of news reports a few years ago for his opposition to fracking. There was a brief Guardian profile and some reports on his court cases. There was a number of court cases related to his disruption of a play and his COVID19 denial, but arguably none of this amounts to "significant coverage".
I've been creating articles about conspiracy theorists and this chap might still be on the wrong side of notabilty. We live in hope that he will get tired of confrontation and seek out a quiet life, but I have a feeling that it won't be long before he's forcing his way into our attention yet again. --Salimfadhley (talk) 22:08, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
