There are many conceptual misconceptions in the page, including the notion that Gerasimov proposed a doctrine. One can argue that it exists since the Western media and some non-specialists in Russian military doctrine use it. Still, it was Galeotti who coined the term, there is no mention of a Gerasimov Doctrine in the Russian military literature. They use "novaya pokolenya voyna" or new generatio warfare.
