I am pinging user:Svartner, user:JTtheOG, user:GiantSnowman, and user:Geschichte to see if anyone has any opinion on the merits of this page. Although there are a pretty good number of Greek-language sources on this player ([1], [2], [3], and [4]), does the fact that he is still an academy player, is nowhere near the first team, and may not be on a professional contract make a difference? I'm tempted to create an AfD for this article, but I also don't want to flood AfDs with pages that will ultimately be kept because I'm overlooking something. To me, this is at best a WP:TOOSOON article, but I feel like it fails WP:SPORTBASIC and WP:GNG because he's just a youth player in an academy. That said, I've seen several AfDs for similar players that were both kept and deleted. I'd appreciate anyone's opinion about this. Thanks. Anwegmann (talk) 06:46, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If there is player coverage in Greek, I don't see any problems. Some articles are created hastily, but there are players who have repercussions even at a youth level. In Brazil at least it is common, Neymar Jr. and now Endrick already have repercussions even at just over 12-13 years of age Svartner (talk) 04:39, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
