@Lugnuts: This looks very much as if it's the same chap as George Webb (cricketer, born 1857). CricInfo lists them separately, but CricketArchive only has one George Webb who played for Kent. Carlaw has them as the same bloke (source - you need p.555 I'm afraid; the index is clickable), although older Kent book sources have them as two people. Given that Carlaw has clearly done some significant leg work on this, I think I'm >99% certain they're the same and have written up the other article as such. Any opposition to a bold merge?
