[edit]- Geoffrey withdrew to Paris and the court of King Philip II of France, who became his friend and made him the suzerain of France, largely to annoy King Henry.
What does that mean? Should it say "vassal"? As it stands it seems to say that Philip did homage to Geoffrey for the kingdom. Srnec 04:57, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
This text is copied straight from James Reston's book 'Warriors of God', along with most of the article, and the above is an error - Geoffrey was Philip's seneschal, not suzerain (which would make no sense). I'm going to try to tidy up the article a bit and cut the amount of borrowing. Salgueira 17:01, 5 June 2006
