Pronunciation and stressed syllable?

[edit]

I just posted this question on the Gagauz people discussion page, but realized it is better posted here. -- I do not have any idea how this word « Gagauz » should be spoken. What is the vowel sound of « au » ? Is the « z » silent ? Are syllables stressed equally, or does stress occur on the final syllable ? I would prefer an IPA indication, if possible. Thank you for your help. Charvex (talk) 06:48, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Odd timing

[edit]

This states that the Gagauz people were granted autonomy from the former Soviet Union in 1995. Didn't that union break up 4 years before that? What's up with the timeline? 24.110.160.233 (talk) 06:07, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

History section

[edit]

That whole paragraph needs a full overhaul, both for the writing quality and also for disjointed content.
