Article edits

I am currently working on the article to insert inline citations, give it an encyclopedic tone, and fill it out with a bit more content. As I am going along I will look for statements that support words like "every", but if you have a source for that, Kautilya1, that would be very helpful.

In the short run, I put an "in use" tag on the article, because I am making changes throughout the article with each edit. If you want me to stop and take a break, though, please let me know. Otherwise, I'll just keep rolling along.

Please also feel free to post comments or questions here.

Pictures

I don't think the pictures are acurate. Both from memory and from eyeballing the shape, I think they are not Rao nozzles. IIRC, up until SSME, NASA's engines used truncated ideal nozzles, not thrust optimized (Rao) nozzles. The engines shown are CECE, which is a variant of RL10 and F1 (Saturn main stage). Rao nozzles are prone to inducing sideloads on startup, which is why they are not always used. --194.94.201.100 (talk) 05:11, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
