Notability

[edit]

Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link, just a few passing mentions. Notability not inherited from better known pilots.

No de.Wiki article. Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect. In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles of these recipients are being redirected to alphabetical lists. K.e.coffman (talk) 05:15, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In your opinion. Most successful radar operator in the Luftwaffe, part of the most successful night-fighting team in air warfare. Wrong again Coffman. Dapi89 (talk) 10:44, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Is there WP:SIGCOV that demonstrates the subject's notability? Being a successful radar operator is not covered under SOLDIER as I understand it. K.e.coffman (talk) 17:32, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Again, it appears there is a deficiency in the complainants knowledge of the night air war literature. Ample coverage in the night war literature (English and German). Most successful radar/radio operator in World War II and by default of all time. Part of the most successful night fighter crew in the history of air warfare.
