Population rising?

[edit]

In Students the article states that the population has been steadily rising. According to the table, the population has been steadily falling. Which is correct? LA (T) @ 19:13, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Read the article a little more carefully. It says:

The school's population had been steadily rising until 2003 when Tuscarora High School opened in southern Frederick.

[edit]

I just removed the entire history section as it was a word for word copy from the student handbook, which is a document produced by the school district and must be assumed to be copyrighted unless it specifically says somewhere it is not. John from Idegon (talk) 00:24, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The page also has a few close paraphrases. The text "began in 1891 with girls and boys attending school in different buildings and matriculation occurring after three years the current facility opened in 1939", "sat scores continue to outdistance the average of those in the state of maryland and the nation frederick high school", "a national blue ribbon school of excellence frederick high is the oldest school in frederick county", and "the school's diverse population reflects its surrounding dynamic community frederick high" all appear both in this article and in the page [1] which is used as one of the first citations in the article. These should probably be paraphrased better or removed. Zell Faze (talk) 16:02, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
