Fisichella → Fisichella family – to avoid confusion with the corresponding surname. Est. 2021 (talk · contribs) 08:50, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Or should it be House of Fisichella? -Kj cheetham ([[User talk:|talk]]) 12:15, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- P.S. I'm not contesting it, I just don't know the convention for this. -Kj cheetham (talk) 12:16, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Based on the several Papal or Venetian noble families I checked, the two definitions seem interchangeable; e.g. Category:House of Sagredo (Sagredo family), Category:House of Calogerà (Calogerà family), Category:House of Chigi (Chigi family). - This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:39, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Moving to contested section - appropriate target needs to be clarified before making the move. Polyamorph (talk) 09:18, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

- @Polyamorph: There's nothing to clarify: they're interchangeable synonyms, and Kj cheetham was not contesting my proposal. The only goal is to avoid confusion. Est. 2021 (talk · contribs) 17:11, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- The question is which is the best (proper) target title. The example for families given in WP:NCBIO (Peruzzi) does not have "family" in it, but then it states that "Surname family" is the more common form. Regarding the query about "House of Fisichella", it seems that categories are described as House, but not articles. The alternative to moving the page is to use a WP:hatnote for disambiguation. But, it seems from the categories that you list that the convention does indeed be "Surname family". So, sure, make the move. Once moved, Fisichella (disambiguation) should be moved to Fisichella as there will no longer be a need to disambiguate that title. Polyamorph (talk) 18:44, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
