Found Bookmark from 1914 bearing its name in an old book.
[edit]I picked up a book called “Old Ace and Other Poems” by Fred Emerson Brooks at a local flea market, and I found this bookmark that says, ‘Member Farmers Institute 1914’. On the inside it’s inscribed ‘To James At the the dear old Christmas time, December - 1911. From Anna.’ It also has a stamp that says, “Private Library Mr. & Mrs. J. A. Curless. No 319 Price 1.25” I’m guessing that James was a member of the Farmers Institute or something like that. ArmandoJones (talk) 17:54, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
