Wrong name (or wrong text)

[edit]

Euphorbia candelabrum Trémaux ex Kotschy is nom. illeg. -> https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:345923-1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miwiki12 (talkcontribs) 20:08, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

E. candelabrum Welw. is the correct name for a quite different plant from Angola. cf -> https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:77216595-1

The plant of the article here is E. ingens (Eastern & South east Africa) -> described in http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Euphorbia_ingens, see also https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:346904-1

So this article here needs a complete revision:

- either describe the real E. candelabrum
- or delete it after integration into the existing E. ingens article.
