[edit]Surely World Energy Magazine (and especially a list of articles written by fossil fuel industry CEOs) is not a neutral source on the issue of global warming? I also don't think that link is relevant to this article, so for those two reasons I'm removing it. The other two links to World Energy Magazine look entirely appropriate and relevant to me, and I note that those two links make the authorship clear within the Wikipedia article, so readers know what to expect.
On a similar note, the link labelled "Objective analysis of TXU Energy" goes to a consulting company's website, the purpose of which is clearly to sell energy from TXU, so I am removing that as advertising. Eldang 22:15, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
I reverted the link to the article on the consulting web site. If you spent 2 minutes to look at the page, they don't sell power from TXU. TXU an A-REP in Texas and does not sell through third party firms like consulting companies. Therefore, it is impossible that the consulting firm is selling TXU power.--76.186.122.53 17:11, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
EFHIntern's edits
[edit]First, if the username's implication is true, EFHIntern's edits to this article are a violation of WP:COI. Second, they make this article read like an advertisement. That "Luminant supports numerous community and nonprofit organizations in the cities it serves, like the local area Chambers of Commerce" is hardly notable and, indeed, potentially violates WP:UNDUE. Further, the deletion of all links to other wikipedia articles hinders the usefulness of this article. To top it off, there are some copyright violations. For example, from [1]:
“ | Energy Future Holdings' vision is to be recognized, through its operating businesses, as a leader in the energy industry and an enabler of economic development and social progress by providing safe, reliable, affordable and environmentally sustainable power. | ” |

warren buffett bond losses
[edit]Buffett spent about $2 billion buying bonds offered by Texas utility Energy Future Holdings. But those bonds are now worth about $878 million, and he conceded Saturday that even that could be wiped out.
