Christophe Genevais

[edit]

I noticed that someone (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Special:Contributions/92.184.104.232) added a mention of someone named Christophe Genevais as a co-founder of Twitch.

Is there a citation available for this? A Google search for "twitch Christophe Genevais" brings up nothing, other than this page.

This is just some kind of random vandalism. FWIW my co-founders for Justin.tv were Justin Kan, Michael Seibel, and Kyle Vogt (there is plenty of press articles stating this.) Eshear (talk) 01:00, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be an attempt to vandalize the page by adding information that the subject is the grandson of an infamous Yakuza member. The provided references for this by the anonymous user show no valid link between the subject (Emmett Shear) and this Yakuza figure, they are just generic links about the Yakuza and their activities. If this continues semi-protection should be considered for this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EvilSS (talkcontribs) 23:01, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Politics?

[edit]

It seems like twitch got into some hot water as a result of overreacting, legally speaking, to direct messages sent from various contact creators. To what extent was the chief executive officer involved in these decisions? 2603:3016:1933:C100:44BF:E60A:4FC9:611A (talk) 14:20, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
