Birth
[edit]Emma Vyssotsky was not born in Philadelphia, but in Media (see: American Men of Science : a Biographical Directory / edited by J. McKeen Cattell and Jaques Cattell. - 5th ed. - New York : Science Press, 1933, and other sources).
The asteroid 1600 Vyssotsky was not named in her honour, but "in honor of Prof. Alexander Vyssotsky", her husband (see L. Schmadel, Dictionary of Minor Planet Names, http://books.google.com/books?id=KWrB1jPCa8AC&pg=PA127).
