Glendale, Kentucky article needs work
[edit]I recently started a stub for this town near E-town, but I don't know enough about it to write an article. Could somebody in the E-town area take a look at it? Thanks! — Stevie is the man! Talk | Work 06:14, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Notable people
[edit]I note that there has been a minor revert war over this section. What is needed are sources that establish that each of the people listed are indeed from Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
In some cases, an appropriate source can be found at the person's bio article - and that source could be simply cut and pasted here. However, there are other cases where the information is not sourced in the person's bio article either. I have tagged those people that have no source for their connection to Elizabethtown (either here or at the bio article.) Blueboar (talk) 22:46, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- Note that the section is being discussed at WT:V#Can lists of notable people be removed under WP:BURDEN? Unscintillating (talk) 00:24, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- As per the discussion at WT:V, I've changed the name of the section from "Notable natives and residents" to "Prominent natives and residents". Unscintillating (talk) 00:24, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- Shifting from the word "notable" to the word "prominent" does not resolve the underlying issue... we still need sources to establish that the people listed actually are natives and/or residents of Elizabethtown. Blueboar (talk) 01:45, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- I've removed the following entry:

- Cecil Collins, former NFL running back for the Miami Dolphins [citation needed]
- I tried finding sources for it, but couldn't. If anyone can find a source for it, please feel free to add it back to the article. Thanks. A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 18:37, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
