Why prisoner?

[edit]

How unfair that her husband was allowed to have affairs his entire life, but when she did exactly the same thing as him, she was imprisoned. Why was she imprisoned? --85.226.47.10 (talk) 13:54, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because she was a woman. It's fashionable and okay for a king to have affairs, mistresses, and illegitimate children, but a queen can't do anything like that or she risk being executed, imprisoned or scorned through history.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 18:45, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ulrike needs to be added to the title in order to differentiate from the first Elisabeth Christine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JONRIDER (talkcontribs) 13:22, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
