1882 Booklet on Laycock and Trickett
[edit]I discovered this on Trove. When I have time I will no doubt be able to source some more statements in this very interesting entry. I put in one reference so others (fellow editors!) would know it existed.Gladiator-Citizen (talk) 02:33, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
Copy/Paste
[edit]Portions of this article appear to be pasted from [1]. I am not sure if all of it was from elsewhere on this website. VQuakr (talk) 05:58, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Biography
[edit]I'm currently preparing a history of Australia's early champion scullers, Laycock included. I'd like to hear from Flags33 if you are a sculling/rowing historian/expert and/or enthusiast, and especially if you are related to Elias C. Laycock or have some means of contacting his descendants. 1902 Photo
[edit]The group photograph of Laycock and other scullers at the reception to George Towns held 5 December 1902 has been reprinted many times but rarely correctly attributed. It appeared in The Sydney Mail of 17 December 1902, p. 1584. and can be seen here. Bluedawe 00:04, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
