Is Electric effective resistance the same as Electrical impedance? Biscuittin (talk) 20:18, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have never heard the term 'effective resistance'. Perhaps it is a foreign expression for something known to English speakers by another name. If so, the article needs deleting. Could this be referring to dynamic resistance?

This article is confusing to most users because the variable 'P' here refers to voltage, whereas it is usually referred to as V —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.53.79.185 (talk) 22:50, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
