German history of Technology
[edit]The fact that this canal was built by the Prussians is covered in the history secion. Feel free to add detail. Unless there are separate lists relating to Polish, German, Lithuanian and Ukrainian histories of technology in Poland, the addition of the word German in the opening paragraph is not relevent. Marine railway vs inclined plane
[edit]Since the boats are carried dry in cradles these are technically marine railways. Inclined planes carry the boats in caissons. I'll put this on my "to do" list unless anyone has strong feelings to the contrary. Martin of Sheffield (talk) 10:12, 12 June 2019 (UTC)
