It is odd that this article refers to her as "Mercedes" despite lack of any justification for that name. (This appears to have been the choice of the person who first created this article, & he took it from the Huffington Post article he based that article on.) Yes, we are told in the lead that was the name her friends knew her by, but it is as likely to not be her birth name as any. (It shares the name of a sportscar, like Portia, so is favored by some women in the sex industry as a pseudonym.) However, even a footnote to explain that, as a convenience, "Mercedes" was selected to refer to her -- even if it isn't her real/birth name. -- llywrch (talk) 06:27, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Everything in the Early Life section is from one source that has no attribution or citations at all. It seems flimsy and unreliable to me. Wikipedia says "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material about living persons must be removed immediately" but I guess I don't see how this qualifies as "contentious" so I'm not comfortable just deleting it. —T — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tyrnill (talk • contribs) 00:11, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
