I removed all references to Jews and Judaism in this article, since the short movie makes no mention of them. I don't know why the original article stated that the Nazi professor and Hitler mentioned Jewish people in a derogatory way - I just watched the movie, and this is completely incorrect! There is NOT a single word about Jews... if anything, it states that Hitler and his regime stood against Democracy, and in a lesser grade, Catholicism - look at the way Jesus Christ in a cross is transformed into a Nazi dagger. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.38.162.11 (talk) 02:18, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which is very confusing, considering that Hitler was a Catholic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.104.158.235 (talk) 01:22, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

public domain

It would be surprising for a Walt Disney property to lapse into PD. Reliable sources needed, beyond websites like DVD sellers and blogs. -- GreenC 22:58, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it would be that surprising for something they can't make money off any more. But sure, a reliable source is needed anyway. FunkMonk (talk) 23:04, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know I am years late on this, but if anyone does come looking here is the renewal by Disney for the short. Based on the copyright law as of 2023 this work will be public domain in 2039. SDudley (talk) 18:45, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
SDudley is correct. Last spring, I led efforts to remove the film from Commons. I produced this exact renewal as evidence, and the film was taken off.
A reminder to everyone reading: the US government commissioning something doesn't mean it holds the copyright. Marisauna (talk) 17:25, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
