Monsoon Surname

The character history section says that Edina's mother is only referred to as "Mrs. M", but this is incorrect. In Series 3, episode 6, the television salesperson refers to her as "Mrs. Monsoon," and asks her to hang up her telephone. I think we can conclude from this that "Monsoon" is Edina's unmarried name. It's not clear why this is Saffron's surname.
