There is a detailed account of the EHLR in "The Ironstone Quarries of the Midlands: Oxfordshire Field Pt. 2: the Oxfordshire Field". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.8.104.74 (talk) 15:17, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is this right?

[edit]

The article references the Long Marston military site. Is this right? Long Marston is miles away, whilst Kineton - with extensive railways still in use - is just at the foot of the Burton Dassett hills, and the presently existing sidings are right in the spot where they would have been used for interchange with the EHLR, and compatible with the old Clearing House maps of the area. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.133.247.163 (talk) 16:39, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
