First part not referenced

[edit]

Hi, the intro says the economy of the area is anchored by kcmo. I can’t find any reference for this anywhere and it seems far fetched. The gdp is split fairly evenly between Missouri and Kansas. I also wanted to add that over half the 14 county areas office space is located in Kansas within Johnson county which also has the highest gdp on a county level in the area too. If anyone has any issues with my future edit feel free to revert and discuss on talk page. Kansascitt1225 (talk) 04:18, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Intro

[edit]

There’s absolutely 0 references and my referenced statements were reverted for some reason as being right winged extreme or something. I don’t know why it even says the economy is anchored by kcmo when there’s absolutely no reference for it and it’s clearly not true. Also I personally don’t like politics and didn’t even vote last election anyways Kansascitt1225 (talk) 21:25, 21 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey user:Smuckola I really do want to maintain a neutral point of view and don’t want to edit war. I don’t think that reverting 1 thing is “won’t stop edit warring” but I genuinely don’t see anywhere that the economy is anchored by kcmo and don’t see any references for it either. Can you please find a reference better than mine or explain to me in what way my edits are conflicting with your views? I would appreciate a talk page response, Thanks. I tried to present that reference in a neutral way instead of saying it’s chiefly due to the Kansas side. I put the GDP was evenly divided between Missouri and Kansas. User:Smuckola I found another reference that says basically the same thing from KCUR. Are you ok with me using this one ? [1]

Again says that the economy is split almost completely evenly between Kansas and Missouri. It also says it’s an anomaly compared to other bi state metro areas and doesn’t happen anywhere else. That’s why the case of the Kansas City area is so unique. I’m not sure how this is pov pushing or biased. Kansascitt1225 (talk) 01:30, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
